If I had no oven and no microwave, I would cook brownies thusly: start a fire in the backyard (3-4 small logs) and allow to burn to coals while I mixed a double batch of brownie mix, pour into my (greased and floured) small cast iron dutch oven. Nestle the oven into the coals and using long bbq tongs add a few coals to the top of the cast iron lid. Bake for 20 mins in the coals, then remove the dutch oven and allow to sit for another 10 on a heatproof surface before lifting the lid to check on my delicious fudgie brownies.

Sheâs always so ignorant about cuisine and trying to shove her cultural ideas onto it. The egg in orange is just supposed to be Chinese steamed egg. Usually you make it in a ramekin. Itâs not supposed to be sweet. After you cook it, you throw some condiments on top before eating. They donât show that part because they assume you know it. The orange is just for presentation as a substitute for a ramekin because Chinese aesthetics find beauty in things like that. If you readjust your thinking and realize it is simply supposed to be a steamed egg, then you can figure out that all the video is doing is giving you the idea of making it in an orange, as an idea for presentation. Itâs not trying to go over all the nuances of making the dish or trying to show you the best cooking of the dish. Itâs literally just saying âHey, everyone knows steamed egg, right? Well hereâs an idea : Next time try making it in an orangeâ.

The best way to get lentils into a jar is to empty the packet of lentils onto the floor. Suck them up with the vacuum cleaner and then empty the vacuum cleaner bag onto the kitchen work-top. Then use a dustpan and brush to scoop them all up. Pour the lentils from the dustpan into a wide-mouthed jug. Take a large paper back and make a small hole in the bottom of one corner, pout the contents of the jug into the paper bag and then, as the lentils trickle out put your storage jar under the hole.. And, there, hay-presto all done!

you can make an oreo mug cake just using oreos and milk, ive tried before you just gotta mash and mix the milk with oreos till its a cake batter like consistincy then put it in the microwave till its done i recommend putting it in for 1 min and 30 seconds tho it depends on the heat of the microwave

My mom and I did this when my family was in lockdown in a rented apartment (we stayed there until the end of the first wave, then we returned home). We used a pan, a tissue and a stove. We put the brownie inside the pan, and turned the stove in low heat. Every time there was water on the top of the pan cover, we dried it. After some time it was ready

I think it's not going to work because usually if you want to make manjar from it you boil it with closed (despite the warning to not do so) and you're really careful waiting for it to cool down. (also it's not that runny, it's usually thicker than the one you buy in store)

With the Oreo cake, Iâve made it work with this recipe: First, take as many Oreos as you want and add it into a cup or bowl. Next, add a SMALL amount of milk, a VERY small amount of milk. Then, crush the Oreos and mix until itâs a thick paste. If itâs too runny, add more Oreos, if itâs too thick or it wonât turn to a paste, add more milk. Then put it in the microwave for 30 seconds if itâs a small amount, then take it out, put a toothpick or a fork to see if itâs still liquid put it back and continue until it wonât melt on your fork or toothpick. And youâre done!

To be fair, the first time you went to put the soda in the watermelon, it didn't matter that it wasn't flat. That extra air didn't have anywhere to go. That's why it didn't fizz out the same way the second time; it didn't matter that you added sugar to flatten the soda. Even with all of that said, it was definitely swapped.

The watermellon deal, is this. I used to do it with vodka in high school. The trick is, cut a small straw size hole in the bottom. and a hole big enough to stand the bottle (like you did) in. I used vodka, you can use beer, soda, anything really but it needs to push liquid out to make room for your liquid in. It's not magic, the flavor you want in it, has to push what's there out.

Honestly, just grab a bottle of tequila, cut your watermelon into slices, pour your tequila in a bowl and add your watermelon slices in. Leave them for an hour or so. Take them out. Lay them on a paper towel and sprinkle them with margarita salt. Theyre a nice adult snack. I'm sure you could use any liquid, but we've always soaked them in tequila. đ¤ˇââď¸
washedblue

but wouldn't the salt bring out the liquids? I get the point of it but with watermelon being mostly water and having been soaked in another liquid, salt would draw out a lot of moisture unless you eat them quick within like 5 min. so I guess maybe for a party?

10:11 If I am that desperate for chocolate sweets, I would just take a spoonful of the brownie mix and drink some milk with it. Maybe try to make a chocolate drink with it. I'd save the eggs for breakfast or something more substantial and keep the other dishes clean to reduce the amount of water I used (as I must be conserving at this point to even consider a flat iron brownie or a cookie mug cake.)

A much easier way of cooking the condensed milk is doing the same as you just said, but put it in a oven safe glass bowl with an oven safe silicon lid (They are actually more common than you'd think. Think they are usually safe up to like 350f or 175c which is more than enough for this) This keeps moisture out of the milk, and will release pressure if it gets to high, and thus won't explode no matter what. Just let it cool a bit before removing the lid to avoid burning yourself on the steam.
