    I do beat egg whites first then right before they are perfect I add sugar and egg yolks in little portions. Then the rest same as you. It makes sponge cake soooo soft and fluffy ❤

    It's nice to get 👍or likes but does anyone know the answer to my question about a dessert I had. Read below please. Thanks. In 1985 I moved to Australia but a family death meant I came back home to the UK and I never went back. Anyway while in Australia someone made something they called Lamingtons which were like cream slices, I've tried to make these ever since but without a recipe (the ones I found were not right) I've never been successful and the amount of ingredients I've thrown away is ridiculous. I know it had a sweet, cheese, lemony, creamy mixture in between two layers of a cake/pastry/biscuit base and top. They were heaven. Would any of your subscribers or perhaps yourself know what I'm talking about and where I can find a recipe? 🤞🤞

    It looks delish! But its not a prinsesstårta maybe a version of it tho. , its not supposed to have a ”cake Dome” and in the original, there is no jam , just vanilla cream, and whiped cream . Xoxo sweden

    As a swede, it was cool to see you attempt my favourite cake :) But it’s with marzipan and definitely not fondant, and the colour is a warmer and paler green. The mix of cream and marzipan is the magical thing about this cake.

    I'll never understand why everyone outside of Sweden makes this cake so hard! What we do is make a mound of cream and lay the last layer of cake over that to get that curve effect!

    You should really try kransekake. It's a type of cake?? That's mostly from almonds and you make rings that start from big to small while you layer them up to the smallest. It is something we have in Norway for special occasions.

    When you say at 4 minutes "ive never seen this way done before" i can hear you never been at a real bakery? Because 9/10 bakers use this method🤔 and for coating the sides of the bowl use cling film its way easier than cutting baking paper

    Nah you need to try the real Japanese cheesecake not these recipes no hate but if you try the real ones you’ll find yourself addicted to them and they also definitely have a cheesecake taste unless your comparing them to Americans Cheesecakes which I don’t fancy

    I made a princess cake this yeat at the beginning of quarantine for my step moms birthday. It took me 6 hours and we messed up the jenoieasie sponge 2 times and the marzipan once and had to remake. Don't ask me how we messed up the marzipan I don't know either.

    With the jiggle cheesecake, if you want it to taste more like a cheesecake, you can add lemon zest (maybe juice as well if I remember right?) and some other things. There's some recipes out there, I think Cooking with Dog has the one I used
